Carolina Tails Magazine, a Charleston Animal Society Publication, is printed on a quarterly schedule. The goal of the magazine is to appeal to a wide audience of animal lovers while educating the public on important issues that face our industry.

 


MEET THE CAROLINA TAILS TEAM

 

Joe Elmore
CEO
Joe Elmore joined Charleston Animal Society, the first animal organization in South Carolina and one of the oldest in the Nation, in 2012 as its chief executive officer. He brought over 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, throughout 8 states and 3 times overseas, to an organization in turmoil. He stabilized its operations and led it to become the leading animal welfare organization in the State and a model in the region and nation. In addition, Charleston Animal Society became the most honored charity in South Carolina for the past three years. Designing and launching No Kill Charleston 2015, Joe led Charleston County to become the first No Kill Community in the Southeast, saving every healthy and treatable animal.
Dan Krosse
Editor
Editor and Creative Director Dan Krosse is a three-time Emmy Award Winner. He has produced for ABC Good Morning America, NBC Today Show, CBS This Morning, Discovery ID, The Doctors and other nationally syndicated programs. Dan also worked as a News Director, Executive Producer, Reporter and Anchor in markets around the U.S.
Ted deLoach
Advertising Director
Ted has vast experience in marketing and client relations in the print and publishing industry. He was a board member of the Advertising Federation of Charleston and also served as President of the American Marketing Association chapter of Charleston.
